News from the Frunk, Ep. 35, 36: Performance, options, pricing changes and a Tesla Energy overview
Posted on May 11, 2015 by Matt Pressman
Check out these latest episodes, 35 and 36, of "News from the Frunk" from Owning Model S author Nick Howe.
With recent news of Tesla Energy getting early reservations which Bloomberg valued at roughly $800 million, it's on pace to measure up with the initial rollout of the Model S, the original iPhone, and even Viagra (see below).
With that in mind, we wanted to learn much more about the Tesla Energy product portfolio, it's benefits, and get a quick summary of why this is such a big deal. We were hoping to get the low-down from Owning Model S author Nick Howe. And, he delivered a super-handy episode of 'News from the Frunk' on the subject matter.
But, first, in Episode 35, Nick discusses the new Model S 70D, improvements to performance of the 85D and P85D, and some changes to options and pricing. Then, in Episode 36, Nick discusses how Elon Musk hit the stage at the Hawthorne design center (a few weeks back) to announce Tesla Energy -- and Nick breaks it all down. Check out the videos below...
