'HookUp' Coat Hooks use a simple, but very strong, vacuum suction cup attachment mechanism that takes less than 30 seconds to install and requires no tools. It can be removed just as easily as it is installed.
'HookUp' Coat Hooks are fabricated from durable, high-strength, PVC plastic. Each coat hook adheres to the rear seatback of the driver and/or passenger seat back. A vacuum suction cup is used for adhesion, allowing 'HookUp' Coat Hooks to be easily installed and removed.
Dimensions: 'HookUp' Coat Hooks have a suction cup that is 1.75 inches (45mm) in diameter, allowing it to be placed at or near the top of the driver or passenger seat back. When in place, the entire product is 2.5 inches (65mm) high, 1.75 inches (45mm) wide and 1.25 inches (30mm) deep. The hook opening is 0.5 inches (12mm) wide.
Weight: Each 'HookUp' Coat Hook weighs approximately 2 oz.
Capacity: The suction cup can hold objects up to 4 - 5 lbs (1.8 to 2.2 kg) in weight.
Color: Gloss black
Usage: 'HookUp' Coat Hooks should be used only when you want to hang any object on the seat back. For safety reasons, it must be removed whenever rear seat passengers are present.
How many coat hooks come with 'HookUp' Coat Hooks?
'HookUp' Coat Hooks comes with two coat hooks, one for each the driver and passenger side.
How do I install 'HookUp' Coat Hooks?
'HookUp' Coat Hooks use a vacuum activated suction cup for adhesion to the seat back of the front driver and passenger seats. After moistening the suction cup, the hook mechanism is rotated downward, drawing in the suction cup and creating a strong vacuum. Installation is complete. Check out the 'Video' tab and/or 'Installation' tab for more.
How long will it take to install?
'HookUp' Coat Hooks is an extremely easy installation and will take no longer than a minute to properly install.
Is it difficult to remove 'HookUp' Coat Hooks?
No. Simply rotate the hook upward to reduce the vacuum and then remove the suction cup and hook.
Will 'HookUp' Coat Hooks scratch or mar the seat back surface?
If used properly, the soft rubber surface of HookUp will not scratch or damage the seatback surface of the Tesla Model X.
How much weight can 'HookUp' Coat Hooks carry?
'HookUp' Coat Hooks can carry about 4 - 5 lbs (1.8 to 2.2 kg) of weight. If you have a lot of dry cleaning, you can always split the load between the 'HookUp' Coat Hooks on both the driver and passenger sides.
Can 'HookUp' Coat Hooks be used for the seat back of the Tesla Model S as well?
No. HookUp-X has been designed exclusively for Tesla Model X. The Tesla Model S seat backs are made of a material that is not amenable to the type of adhesion used for 'HookUp-X' Coat Hooks. However, EVANNEX® does offer Coat Hooks that are attached to the pano roof panel of Model S.
Can I leave 'HookUp' Coat Hooks installed permanently?
For safety, you must remove HookUp-X whenever backseat passengers are present. Even though 'HookUp' Coat Hooks protrudes less than 1.25 inches from the seat back, it represents a small, irregular object that could become attached to clothing while entering or exiting the vehicle through the rear doors and/or might be an issue for rear seat passengers in the unfortunate event of an accident.
