Tesla Owners: Check out National Drive Electric Week
Last year, we were proud to be part of National Drive Electric Week locally here in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This celebration is a great way to introduce others to the benefits of driving electric. In addition, it's a fantastic way to also introduce other electric vehicle (EV) owners to the unique advantages of driving a Tesla. And, it's always fun to meet up with others in the Tesla community. We've been attending National Drive Electric Week events for years and we encourage you to find a local event near you and sign up to attend. If you want to come and visit us, we'll actually be at two different Florida-based National Drive Electric Week events this year!

Last year, we had 219 guests and 49 plug-in electric vehicles (having driven a total of 818,076 electric miles) at the Ft. Lauderdale event. Tesla Model S owners came out in full force. Many were long-time customers of EVANNEX and loyal members of the fantastic Florida Tesla Enthusiasts Club — some special guests showed up including Owning Model S author and "News from the Frunk" host, Nick Howe, and, Brooks Weisblat, owner of Drag Times, who has some of the fastest published drag race Tesla track times (and yes, he's soon getting a P100D). National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) this year runs from September 10th - 18th, 2016, and it's a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of driving electric. If you'd like to check us out, we're bringing some EVANNEX giveaways, aftermarket Tesla accessories, and premiering a surprise new product. We'll be at two locations this year, information follows below...
Satellite Beach, FL
In celebration of National Drive Electric Week, the Space Coast EV Enthusiast club will host an event at the Schechter Community Center in Satellite Beach, FL on Saturday, September 17th from 10am to 4pm. Club members will be available to answer questions and to provide test rides and drives. There will be more than 40 plug-in electric vehicles at the event along with car companies (including Tesla) and representatives from environmental organizations, solar installation companies, and our team from EVANNEX. West Palm Beach, FL
Join us on Sunday, September 18th from 4-7pm, to celebrate electric vehicles during National Drive Electric Week. Located along the picturesque Flagler Drive waterfront, the event will offer electric vehicle dealer displays, an EV owner meet-up, EV charging info, and our team from EVANNEX. Bring the family and meet other Tesla and EV owners, we've been to this event the past few years and it's always fun.
National Drive Electric Week celebrations will be taking place throughout the week of September 10th - 18th. Events will be happening all across the US and other countries.
