Elon Musk boosts morale of Tesla staff in company-wide email

Leaked emails of Elon Musk addressing Tesla employees have been making headlines recently — the latest of which is a positive one, showing Musk's admiration toward the hard work and dedication of the electric automaker's employees.

Earlier this month, Elon Musk announced plans to put an end to remote work at Tesla, in hopes of boosting employee efficiency and presence at the automaker's offices worldwide. In another email, Musk stated that Tesla plans to lay off around 10 percent of salaried employees due to overstaffing.

In this recent email, however, Tesla's CEO and Techno King encourages employees for their efforts toward sustainable energy and transportation.

Interestingly, Musk threw a slight jab at Tesla short-sellers on Wall Street, including his long-time adversary (and well-known iconic investor) Warren Buffett.

"I have infinitely more respect and admiration for you than the richest person on Wall St.," he stated in the email — the richest investor on Wall Street, of course, being Warren Buffett.

Here's Elon Musk's email in its entirety, in which Elon Musk praises his employees for their fantastic work and for creating a better world for future generations. This email was released on Twitter by Tesla retail investor, analyst, and YouTuber Dave Lee.

Elon Musk has set many examples as one of the most successful CEOs of today's business world, and publicly appreciating and praising his workforce has remained one of them.

For example, as Tesla Gigafactory Shanghai ramped up production last month, Musk tweeted about his respect for everything the factory's team had done throughout lockdowns and the automaker's closed-loop production system.

“I have so much respect for the Tesla Shanghai team,” he tweeted.
