Polestar Drivers Can Now Charge at Over 17,800 Tesla Superchargers Across the U.S. and Canada!
Good news for Polestar owners! As of October 29, 2024, Polestar electric vehicles can now connect to Tesla’s Supercharger network, adding over 17,800 Superchargers across North America to their charging options. With just a simple adapter, Polestar drivers gain access to Tesla’s extensive charging infrastructure, making road trips and daily charging even more convenient.
Looking forward, future Polestar models will come equipped with the NACS (North American Charging Standard) port right from the factory, while current owners can order an adapter through their local Polestar Service Point. Deliveries for the adapter are set to begin mid-November. To make things easier, Polestar’s in-car Google Maps will also be updated to show all available NACS Superchargers, so finding a charge is a breeze.
Anders Gustafsson, Head of Polestar North America, shared, “With access to the Tesla Supercharger network, Polestar owners have more charging options than ever, making life on the road even easier and more efficient.” With this upgrade, Polestar drivers now have nearly 27,800 fast-charging stations across North America, including Tesla’s NACS chargers and around 10,000 CCS DC fast chargers. That means more choices and less worry about where to plug in next.
The Polestar line-up, built for performance and sustainability, includes three models: the Polestar 2 performance fastback, and two electric performance SUVs—the Polestar 3, produced in South Carolina and now available for delivery, and the Polestar 4. For EV enthusiasts looking for power, style, and a premium driving experience, Polestar is stepping up in a big way.
