Honoring Heroes: Tesla pays tribute on Memorial Day with camouflage Model S [Gallery]

SS Customs' "Special Ops" project in conjunction with Tesla is a head-turner. Their camouflage Tesla Model S was first unveiled on Memorial Day. To pay tribute, SS Customs wrote, "Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices. From all of us at SS Customs, we wish you a safe and pleasant Memorial Day."

At EVANNEX, we're also proud to be included in Tesla's "Special Ops" project with SS Customs. We're honored to have participated with SS Customs and Tesla on this one-of-a-kind Model S. To that end, we donated aftermarket accessories including our Wheel Bands to add something unique and distinctive to the vehicle.

The Model S "Special Ops" project features a stunning blue/grey/black/white camo color combination. On the rear bumper, it states: "Home of the free because of the brave." The distinctive wrap also includes American flag artwork on the panoramic roof of the Model S as well.

Across the side, it reads: "Made in the USA." It's worth noting that Tesla manufactures the most American-made car of any auto manufacturer. Tesla also has a long history of supporting those who've served in our military.
