Tesla Survey: Add your input to the 300+ responses thus far

Guest Blog Post: Christian Prenzler runs Prenzler Digital Media. Christian has a strong passion for research. Over the years Christian has written several research reports on companies, including: Tesla, T-Mobile, Yahoo, and Square. His strong passion for Tesla Motors has also led him to create a line of limited edition posters of the award-winning Tesla Model S and Roadster.

Last March, I conducted a survey with almost 300 responses to my 22 questions. I've since decided to create a new survey in order to ask new questions and collect valuable new data. While this survey has some of the same questions as my last survey, many of them differ. This survey utilizes Typeform’s logic-jump feature, which allows me to create several different surveys within one — allowing the survey to ask questions that are only relevant to the specific user. While the survey has a total 30 questions, no respondent will be required to answer all of them.

I'm (almost) a completely self-taught researcher — learning from reading analysts’ research, company reports/earnings, and relevant news articles. My goal is to make improvements to each survey and subsequent report. This survey is an evolution from my last survey, and uses advanced features to provide more precise results that will produce a more complete and in-depth report.

This survey will provide insight on the SolarCity/Tesla merger, battery upgrades, and overall customer satisfaction. It will analyze the potential synergies with the "conversion" of Tesla customers into potential SolarCity/Tesla Energy customers. Previous Tesla ownership surveys have reported extremely high satisfaction, and, this survey will breakdown satisfaction by demographics, type of vehicle, and other relevant information. In addition, previous questions have been altered to provide more specific responses that will help create a clearer picture when reading survey results.

I'll be releasing survey results on my website and via a follow-up blog post here on EVANNEX. At this stage, I have over 300 responses. I'm hoping to exceed (at least) 500 responses in total. To take the survey, please select the red button below...

Editor's Note: Although we participated in this survey as (personal) Tesla owners, we're not involved in this (or the prior) research studies Christian conducted. He had asked us to help alert other Tesla owners who might be interested in taking the survey and had volunteered to write a follow-up guest blog post to announce his top-line findings.
