EVANNEX® is a father-and-sons family business that specializes in the sale of automotive aftermarket Tesla accessories. Our products are made in the USA, designed by Model S owners for Model S owners. The founders are profiled below.
Roger Pressman (left) began his career as a mechanical engineer but quickly made the transition to computers and software. His background in CAD and computer-based manufacturing have been invaluable as he worked to turn the idea of a Center Console Insert into an actual product. Many of the products we carry are designed by Roger. Roger is author of Getting Ready for Model 3. He was also editor Owning Model S by Nick Howe. In addition, Roger created and teaches the entire curriculum for Electric Vehicle University. And, he's also a contributor discussing Tesla [NASDAQ: TSLA] related pieces on Seeking Alpha. Roger has served on the Board of Directors for Tesla Owners Florida club. Roger has been a proud owner of a Model S and Model X. He currently owns a Model 3.
Over the years, Roger has been an engineer, a programmer, a manager, a project manager, a professor, and the principal of an internationally recognized software engineering consulting firm. He has developed and marketed a variety of software engineering products to major companies worldwide. He is also the author of seven technical books and two novels. An avid sports enthusiast, Roger was a NTRP 4.5 tennis player until his back decided he had to give up the game. He is now a humble 8-handicap golfer, but hasn’t had much time on the course recently.
Matt Pressman (middle) began his career in magazines, working at Details, Men’s Fitness, Fader, and, Quincy Jones’ Vibe Magazine. Later, Matt became Partner/President of Project 2050, a brand/digital agency, which worked with clients including Nike, Target, EA Sports, and Virgin. At EVANNEX, Matt manages the website and all Tesla-related social media updates. He's also the lead writer for the EVANNEX Blog. His articles are regularly featured on Teslarati, InsideEVs, CleanTechnica, and Inverse. Matt owns a 2012 Signature Tesla Model S 85.
Mike Pressman (right) began his career as a Television Producer in Music Videos (Christina Aguilera, Alanis Morissette, Dixie Chicks) and Commercials (LG, Absolut, Acura). Mike later went on to Executive Producing non-scripted content for IFC, VH1, G4, Bravo, and Disney Channel. Most recently he found success in Reality Television as a VP of Development overseeing hit TV series like Island Hunters (HGTV), Million Dollar Listing: San Francisco (Bravo), Good Work (E!), Sale Of Two Cities (HGTV) and Life With La Toya (OWN). Mike manages the day to day production and business affairs for EVANNEX®, as well as assisting in product development, product management and marketing on new EVANNEX products.
