Tesla Model X Design Studio: Sneak Peek and Spy Video

The Tesla Model X design studio went "live" in the last 24 hours for Signature reservation holders. According to Gas2*, Model X pricing appears somewhat similar to equivalent Model S pricing and a few factoids were revealed for the Model X P90D variant including: 240 miles of range, a 0–60 mph time of 3.8 seconds (or 3.2 seconds with Ludicrous mode), and, a top speed of 155 mph. The Model X tow package adds $750, the subzero weather package adds $1,000, and Ludicrous Mode adds $10,000 (just like on the Model S).

Gas2* also featured some photos from the Model X design studio showing some exterior color options (including the Signature Red used for the Model S), interior shots (including the Signature white upholstery used for the Model S and some new wood trim finishes), and some clues relative to the seating configuration. See below...

Bjorn Nyland, winner of the Tesla Referral Program contest (in Europe), got a complimentary Tesla Model X as his prize. He just filmed a great overview video of the Model X design studio options...

In addition, in the past week, we've also uncovered some compelling "spy videos" of pre-launch Model X test vehicles and it appears as if these are (we hope) production-ready vehicles. Without a doubt, we are drawing closer and closer to the official "launch" of the Model X! We'll keep you posted on developments.
