Tesla Owners: Road trip to Las Vegas for a good cause

Want to take a Tesla trip to Sin City? After all, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Well... it isn't all so sinful when you're a Tesla owner. It turns out that the Tesla Driver's Club is hosting an event in Las Vegas with a good cause — to honor those touched by Cancer. So spread the word and help them raise awareness (and funds) for the American Cancer Society this Memorial Day weekend in Vegas.

The event is open to Tesla owners, including those with a Model S, Model X, Model 3, and the old-school Tesla Roadster as well. And if you're a Tesla reservation holder, Tesla enthusiast or live far away and want to attend the event, you can actually rent a Tesla on Turo. In fact, Turo is even offering attendees a $40 promo code (thru May 28, 2018) on a Tesla rental for this special event.

Some of the weekend activities planned include a special welcome reception, visit to the Las Vegas Tesla store, and trips to Hoover Dam and High Roller (the World’s Tallest Observation Wheel). Also, there's the Mt. Charleston group scenic drive — Lee Canyon Road to Kyle Canyon Road loop. This drive takes you up 6,500′ vertically starting off in the Mojave Desert in Las Vegas (2,000′) through the Spring Mountain National Recreation Area all the way up to Lee Canyon Resort (8,500′) on Mt. Charleston.

Tesla Driver's Club has you taken care of — its Concierge Package includes chauffeured Tesla car service, car charging valet and detailing. When you arrive in Las Vegas, the Tesla Drivers Club concierge team will meet you at one of the two local Superchargers. A chauffeur-driven Tesla will deliver you to your hotel for check in. Your chauffeur will return you to your fully charged and cleaned vehicle. Chauffeur services will also be available during your stay for trips to casinos, restaurants and bars or just a quick trip to the store.

Tesla Driver's Club has selected two host hotels, the Aria Resort & Casino and the Vdara Hotel and Spa, which have LEED Gold Certifications by the US Green Building Council (USGBC). These hotels are both located on the Las Vegas Strip at CityCenter. And you can always access the two local Tesla Supercharger locations that have a total of 16 Supercharger stalls.
