There are hundreds of thousands of Model 3 and Model Y vehicles on the road, and all of them use the standard OEM tail lights installed at the factory. They provide necessary turn signal functionality, but they're kind of 'old school.' With the "Eagle Eye" tail light upgrade, you can now differentiate your Tesla Model 3 or Model Y from the pack by replacing your standard blinking OEM tail lights with a brighter LED plug-and-play version that sequences from inside to outside, providing a dynamic indication of intent to turn.
Easy to install, these "Eagle Eye" tail lights give your Tesla a custom look while at the same time, providing a more recognizable intent to turn.
Before and After
IMPORTANT NOTE: For older versions (2017 to 2020) of Model 3 and Model Y, both the Eagle Eye red brake lights and the orange turn signal lights will illuminate when you hit the brake pedal. For 2021 and later Model 3 and Model Y, only the brake lights will illuminate when the brake pedal is pressed.
Why do I need upgraded rear tail lights?
To date, Tesla's tail lights provide the standard blinking indicator when you intent to turn. And yet, it's becoming increasingly common for high-end vehicles to offer sequential turn signals that fire a sequence of LEDs from inside to outside, providing a dynamic indication of your intent to turn. Our "Eagle Eye" tail lights offer this feature, providing a custom look that will turn heads whenever you make a left or a right.
