Rail Mounts

Molded ABS attachment mounts have been designed to conform to the cargo space side geometry behind the rear seats (where the frame is attached) and in the rear of the cargo area. These mounts are attached using double-sided adhesive strips (no drilling or screws are required).

Installation

Quick Start Installation Steps: The EVANNEX Hardtop Trunk Cargo Cover for Model Y is relatively easy to install and requires no tools.

Step 1. Locate the proper cargo space side position for the right and left attachment mounts. IMPORTANT: Test fit into place BEFORE you remove the red adhesive backing.

Step 2. Beginning with either the left or right attachment rail mount, remove the red adhesive backing from the rear of the rail mount, pull back the OEM rubber insulation seal, and press the mount into place (see photos below).

Step 3. Press the attachment rail mount into place and repeat for the other side.

Step 4. Place the cover on the rail mounts and slide in the Hardtop partition cargo cover.

Installation is complete!
