Volkswagen Announces 2025 ID. Buzz Pricing and Range, Unveils New Interiors

Volkswagen has just announced the pricing, range, and new interior options for the 2025 ID. Buzz, the electric version of the classic Microbus. This exciting vehicle will be hitting American driveways later this year, offering a mix of nostalgia and modern technology.

Pricing and Range Details

The ID. Buzz will be available in several models with the following starting prices:

• Pro S: $59,995
• Pro S Plus: $63,495
• Launch-Only 1st Edition: $65,495

For those interested in more power and control, the 4Motion all-wheel-drive versions are also available, with slightly different pricing.

When it comes to range, the ID. Buzz is ready to go the distance. The rear-wheel-drive models have an EPA-estimated range of 234 miles on a full charge, while the 4Motion all-wheel-drive models offer 231 miles. This makes the ID. Buzz perfect for both daily commutes and longer trips.

A Fresh Look Inside

Volkswagen is also offering a first look at two new interior color options: Moonlight and Copper. The Moonlight interior is dark and moody, featuring dark brown leatherette seats with white piping, blue door inserts, and a dark wood-look dash. The Copper interior offers a mid-century modern vibe with rich brown leatherette seats, yellow piping, and a washed wood-look dash. Both interiors are designed to complement the retro yet modern exterior of the ID. Buzz.

Pro S: The entry-level model is rear-wheel drive and offers a second-row bench seat for up to seven passengers. It comes with standard features like 20-inch wheels, LED headlights, a 12.9-inch infotainment display, and more. Available in three single-tone exterior colors, this model starts at $59,995.

Pro S Plus: Building on the Pro S, this model adds premium features like a head-up display, a 700-watt harman/kardon sound system, and a panoramic smart glass roof. It’s available in a variety of single-tone and two-tone exterior colors, with pricing starting at $63,495 for RWD and $67,995 for AWD.

Launch-Only 1st Edition: This special edition comes with unique features like 20-inch wheels, roof rail cross bars, and a coastal-inspired interior. Priced at $65,495 for RWD and $69,995 for AWD, it’s a limited edition that offers something extra for early adopters.
