The HVAC air inlet vent is located under the hood of your model 3. Between the wind shield and the frunk.

Simply open your Model 3 frunk and access the vent.

How do I install the vents?

First, do a dry run. Place the Air Inlet Vent Cover over the vent, being sure it's oriented properly. Then press the vent cover into place until it clips into place. Note: You should hear snap-in sound when mounting clips are properly fixed.

Will the vent cover impede airflow?

The impact of the vent cover on airflow will be negligible.

Will this air vent cover for Model y work for Model 3?

No. The air inlet vent configuration for Model 3  is different. These vents have been specifically designed for Model 3 and Model Y separately.
