Since both sides experience the same mileage, road conditions, and suspension loads, replacing both at the same time helps maintain consistent performance from left to right.

Replacing the left side only:

Replacing both front upper control arms:

Recommended: If one front upper control arm is worn or has a failed ball joint/bushing, replacing both left and right control arms together can help provide more consistent suspension response and reduce the likelihood of needing to perform the same repair on the opposite side soon after.
