The RaceChip RX is attached between the accelerator pedal sensor and the engine control unit. Simple plug & play installation means that it can be fitted without any prior technical knowledge. The signals emitted by the accelerator pedal sensor are adjusted via specially tuned characteristic curves. This results in a more linear torque demand on the electric motor and increased energy recovery when the accelerator pedal is released. As a result, less energy is lost and energy recovery is improved during braking; the same battery capacity will cover a longer distance.

App Controlled:

Brainbox:
The Brainbox is the RX's brain, controlling the processes required to optimize throttle response and communicating with the RaceChip app via Bluetooth, allowing you to control it via your smartphone. Thanks to its handy size (approx. 70 x 80mm), the Brainbox is very easy to store and fix in the footwell of your vehicle. It doesn't impact the driver's legroom due to its low height. It is also possible to mount it in other locations, such as in existing bays or slots, as well as on smooth surfaces in the vehicle.

Bluetooth Connectivity
Unlike most tuning solutions, RaceChip tuning boxes allow you to connect your smartphone to the tuning box to make changes. Straight out of the box you’re able to switch between three performance levels: Efficiency, Sport, and Race. If you need a customized tuning file, RaceChip can provide a modified tuning file which you can install on the tuning box.

Installation:
• Disconnect the plug from the original plug adapter on the accelerator pedal.
• Connect the Brainbox to this original plug adapter.
• Mount the Brainbox on a smooth surface in the footwell.
• Set up the RaceChip+ app to control the RX.

• The RaceChip RX does not affect battery life, the smoother power output actually protects battery cells and can extend battery life
• The connector attaches to the sensor with a simple lock. The plug can be easily removed by releasing this lock. You will find detailed information on how to do this in your user manual.
